The work of Hervé van der Straeten, a designer-artist born in 1965, is characterised by its intensity and eclecticism ranging from jewellery to decoration, design to cosmetics and furniture to tableware.
Each expresses a multi-facetted personality, capable of reconciling reality and fantasy, sobriety and panache.
Amongst his many designs are Guerlain: “Kiss Kiss” lipstick , 2005, Label/Jewellery for “L’instant de Guerlain”, perfume extract Christmas 2005 – Christian Dior Parfums: “J’adore” fragrance bottle .
